The Hippodrome of Constantinople was the place for horse races. It still survives as a park in which the traces of the old race course are clearly visible and a ruin.

ABOUT ME
A little bit of information about me.
I am Seda. I was born in 1977 in Istanbul and raised here, too. After high school graduation I have worked as an au-pair in London for 18 months in 1996-97 to improve my English.
Then I have studied Tourism Guidance for 4 years at Balikesir University. Here I am doing my dream job professionally since 2002 in my glamorous city as well as other parts of Turkey. I have always believed that I was born for this job and wanted to become a tour guide to meet people who I can pass on my culture, history and lifestyle as a Turkish woman. In return, I get to meet different people and hear their unique stories every day. Additionally, Istanbul is a great location to have good time with my guests both historically and actually.
I mainly customize or design a tour for your interests and work privately associating with reputable local agencies. By having a local guide in your limited time here I am hoping that you will have better holiday experience.
Working as a tour guide is not only a job for me, it’s a pleasure. Let's share a great time together.

BASILICA CISTERN
This subterranean structure was commissioned by Emperor Justinian and built in 532. The largest surviving Byzantine cistern in İstanbul, it was constructed using 336 columns, many of which were salvaged from ruined temples and feature fine carved capitals.
ST SOPHIA
The Eighth wonder of the ancient world has been built During Byzantine time in 537 by Emperor Justinian. It has been used as Greek Orthodoxe Church, Mosque and Museum today in its history of 1500 years.
